Habitat: A variety of open or semi-open habitats including fields, agricultural land and residential areas. This bird often can be seen in habitats near water.
Interesting Fact: Barn Swallows build their nests out of mud and often nest in loose aggregations. They often nest in protected areas in culverts, buildings and under bridges.
