Adult male is chestnut below and on the rump. The head, back and tail are black. Adult female is mostly greenish-yellow with a darker back and wings. First-year male resembles adult female but has a black face. |

Interesting Fact: |
Orchard Orioles are early spring migrants, arriving in Arkansas as early as the end of March. Likewise, they are early fall migrants, with most individuals gone by August. |
